The Rutgers Executive Leadership Program for Women
The Power of Moynahan’s Success Circles
Throughout their time in the program, small groups of participants mentor each other through monthly telephone conferences. Using a process provided in Brigid Moynahan’s Success Circles®: a Guide to Peer Mentoring, they advise each other as they solve immediate work problems, set and achieve future goals and develop innovative solutions to key business challenges.
The book’s five questions guide participants in shifting from problem to insight to action. Professionals sharpen their strategic skills and become able to lead with ever more confidence and impact.
The sessions also build interpersonal and influencing skills and address the challenges participants face in balancing their work and personal lives. Professionals find these sessions so valuable that most continue meeting together long after the program ends.
