National Science Foundation Reports on Women, Minorities, and Persons with
Disabilities in Science and Engineering

The National Science Foundation provides reports with information about education and employment in science and medicine related fields. Reports and other information are organized by topic and demographic group. Site includes links to full reports, tables and graphs, additional resources, archives of past reports, and updates. The National Academies Committee on Women in Science, Engineering, and Medicine
Publishes reports and research on women’s participation, and their status in scientific, engineering, and medical academic and professional fields. Materials analyze the status of women in science and health related education and careers since the 1990s to the present. Links to the National Academies Press allows the reader to buy hardcover or electronic (PDF) copies of the publications, or to read them online free. Gender Faculty Studies at Research 1 Institutions: A second series of reports about gender equity in research universities in the USA, sorted by state. U.S. Department of Energy 2010 Report to the White House Council on Women and Girls
Provides information about gender distribution in the Department of Energy workforce, and outlines information about programming and projects to improve the number of women in scientific careers, as well as women-owned business related to work of the DOE in the areas of energy research, economy, and security.
