This is the first plenary of the spring 2019 semester for students enrolled in the Douglass Course. The first plenary each semester is inspired by Adrienne Rich’s 1977 Douglass Convocation speech, “Claiming An Education.” This spring’s guest speaker is Jeanne LoCicero, the Legal Director of the ACLU New Jersey. She is an alumna of Douglass Residential College, and she graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. degree in 1995. She holds a J.D. from Rutgers University Law School. All are welcome.
