In Douglass tradition, the first plenary is titled “Claiming an Education” inspired by Adrienne Rich’s 1977 convocation speech at the College. Knowledge and Power instructors will introduce themselves to the fall 2019 cohort and share about a pivotal, powerful moment when they claimed their own education. Students enrolled in Knowledge and Power are required to attend.
