Photovoice is a community-based participatory action research method that has been applied to a wide range of projects throughout the world to document community voices concerning social problems that affect diverse and often underrepresented groups. Training in Photovoice will be facilitated by Alexandra Lightfoot and Linda Riggins. Dr. Lightfoot is an award-winning leader in using community-based participatory research to address health disparities in collaboration with communities and is based at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
